About: A North American native perennial wildflower that will grow up to 15" in height with blue-violet bell flowers shaped like bells. Loved by hummingbirds and a plant with low-water needs. Blooms spring to summer. A great accent or companion plant to add to any formal bonsai display as it can be stunted in growth based on the selected pot size.

Planting: You can plant these dormant plants in the ground any time of year, or overwinter properly. Dig a hole twice the size of the pot, backfill with soil, gently press the new soil surrounding the plant and water thoroughly. Add mulch for added winter protection, moisture retention and to amend the soil. Water regularly during the first grow season to help the plant establish.
